PT DTR Coal Mine (Duta Mine Engineering) Member of Medco Mining Group operates near Sabur Lestari Village. In this region by establishing Vocational Schools, which is now the SMK 1 Seimanggaris. LPPM ITB has carried out community service activities (PM) in the border region of the country with PT DTR since 2015 by concentrating its activities in SMK 1 Seimanggaris. Many of these vocational graduates work in plantations and coal mines. Some of the pit of PT DTR mine has been declared final and continued with reclamation activities in the form of tree planting (revegetation). Especially in the northern region of PT DTR IUP, there is a desire of reclamation activities will be synchronized with the development of border tourism in the form of agrotourism. For this reason, this PM village PM activity was carried out with the theme of the used mine excavation land review for tours. Beginning by making field visits to the mine site, the location of tourism potential around the mine, lectures on coal mining in open-pit and reclamation or post-mining activities, training related to plastic waste-utilization skills. PM Activities This time LPPM ITB invited experts from the Mining Engineering Study Program FTTM ITB, the ITB FSRD product design study program, and the Landskap Landskap ITB architect study program. Beginning with coordination with the head of SMK 1 Seimanggaris, PT DTR, and considering the condition of the pandemic, finally this activity was approved to be implemented on August 18, 2021. The results of this activity are giving a general picture of the condition of the mining area and coal mining activities, general description Regarding reclamation activities carried out in coal mines, general descriptions regarding tourism potential around the mine and the possibility of integration, and the debriefing of the waste use / skills.
