Activities of the community in Kandangan Village, Temanggung Regency are focused on the need for drying and preservation technology in the bicycle industry from bamboo. This activity is motivated by the problem of bamboo detainment in terms of drying preserves that require a long time and a bamboo that is still upbubuk / blue stain after being preserved. From this problem the lecturer team cheats the boucherie preservation method and a natural drying combination and drying oven drying. The results of the field testing in the Industry in Temanggung, it was found that the application of the Boucheri Method on BambuCerkan a shorter time from the previous process that required a 3-6 hour preservation time in one process. With the Boucherie method only takes 1 hour with a more effective result in the use of preservatives and energy use. While using the combination of drying drying and ovendrying drying, capable of suppressing energy use in a drying oven from 6 days to 3 days of processing the drying process with a drying oven. The use of solardrying as the initial drying process is one of the important factors so that the drying oven drying process is shorter. The usage of the energy of sunlight in Solar Drying In addition to being able to reduce the cadaraair and shorten the drying process on the oven drying, the combination of the combination method is also able to suppress defects due to the drying process, so the drying output becomes more optimal. The next goal of this activity is the development of preservatives. Preservatives used are still very much for the environment, so it is necessary to find some of the application of natural supplies in the bamboo preservation process.
