The availability of clean water is still a problem in several regions in Indonesia, especially in rural areas, remote areas, and other areas that are not affordable to water treatment facilities or PDAMs. Consuming unhealthy water has a negative impact on public health. Cigondewah Kaler, Kec. Bandung Kulon, Bandung City is one example of a region whose river water is polluted so that it cannot be used directly by the surrounding community. One alternative technology that can be used to address the problem of providing clean water is ultrafiltration membrane technology (UF). UF has a relatively small pore size so that it can produce crystal water as well as pathogens free. UF can also be designed easily according to the desired capacity. In addition, UF is also easy to operate and can even be operated using a manual pump. In this activity, UF membrane technology is installed in the Imah Cigondewah culture, to produce clean water. The clean water produced can be utilized by local residents for everyday needs. Activities like this are expected to help the community in resolving the problem of providing clean water, not only in cigondewah, but also in other areas with similar problems.
