Diversity of mineral and coal resources in Indonesia has provided benefits not only for foreign exchange, but also supports people's lives such as fuel energy, electricity, gas, and so forth. Mining activities in Indonesia have been regulated in Law No.3 of 2020 concerning Mineral and Coal Mining. However, this activity also affected the loss of forest areas, biodiversity, land degradation, and so forth. Environmental destruction is not only carried out by illegal mining, but also by mining companies that do not yet have a Mining Business License (IUP). Based on the relevant regulations, each company is obliged to carry out reclamation and post -mining activities that are planned, systematic, and continue after part or all of the mining business activities are carried out. Reclamation and post -mining activities are carried out to restore the function of the natural environment and social functions through community empowerment according to local conditions in all mining areas.
