Efforts to Plan the Development of the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) have been launched and began to be implemented since 2021. The development plan needs to be maintained its sustainability not only in planning, but also in its implementation and control. In addition to physical development that has been running, development management, development/construction, development control and community services need to be prepared as well as possible. Although there are quite a lot of regulations and plans that have been issued, there are still & nbsp; Some issues that need to be observed in the management of development in IKN, include; Issues of Integration and Completeness of Development Regulations (Spatial Planning, Buildings and others); Issue of government system and social service; Institutional issues are related to the division of authority in managing development and social services; Issues of device and development control process. The purpose of this activity is to examine the regulations of the development of the Capital City (IKN) and complement the devices and mechanisms for controlling their development. Solving the problems faced will use a normative approach, descriptive and participatory analysis. The normative approach will examine theories related to the implementation of development and various regulations related to the implementation of development in IKN. By comparing the content of the required and available rules, it can be identified as a rules that can complement the existing regulations. Data collection techniques will use library studies and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with stakeholders. Analysis techniques use the comparative review between theory, needs and availability of regulations descriptively. Participatory approaches will involve stakeholders which include Oikn, the Provincial Government of East Kalimantan, the Government of Kutai Kartanegara Regency, North Penajam Paser Regency Government, as well as local community representatives (indigenous peoples, NGOs, and others). From the results of the analysis, various problems can be identified grouped in several development control issues, namely institutional; Community Services; Completeness and integration of plans, devices and development control processes. Based on this study, further research is needed related to the provision of social services, accelerating the preparation of plans and instruments for controlling the development of the archipelago and surrounding areas.
Develop the completeness of the derivatives of the IKN development regulations; Analyzing the government system in the IKN region; Assessing the process and device of development control; Compile recommendations for the completeness of regulations for government systems, social services, and development control.
Into input/recommendations for the government and Oikn in terms of development control in IKN, and develop research related to IKN within the scope of SAPPK and ITB.
