Activity Summary

The Cilengkrang community utilizes the cereh fragrance as a raw material for making essential oils. However, essential oil production activities from fragrant lemongrass which are not processed further, will result in the formation of fragrant culitary waste. Based on this and after conducting a survey, the potential that can be developed is to utilize fragrant lemongrass waste to be used as a feed of livestock, considering that the community in Cilengkrang also raises cattle in his daily life. The training was carried out twice with 8 participants, consisting of teachers and also cattle farmers. The hope of this training is to be able to overcome the problem of scenting waste which accumulates and also the trainees can make organic feed for livestock independently.
