The community service program by the FMIPA ITB Statistics Expertise Group (KK) aims to bring closer and improve statistical data processing skills at the village level, especially in Kebonturi Village, Cirebon. This program includes training in the use of software such as Excel, real problem-based data analysis, and data visualization to support fact-based decision making. With an exploration and confirmation approach, this activity involves group discussions and direct training. The results of the program are expected to strengthen the ability of village officials to get used to collecting data, start managing data, increase the efficiency of solving local problems, and support business, daily life and local government through comprehensive information. Program sustainability includes the development of assisted villages to strengthen scientific capacity.
Training for village level government officials and participants in previous programs in basic organizational and statistical data processing skills based on their respective real problems. Strengthen ITB's role in helping governments understand the real situations they are facing. Gives students real-world experience in applying basic statistics when faced with the data around them.
This project provides benefits in the form of increasing the capacity of village officials in data collection, data processing and analysis, as well as strengthening data-based decision making capabilities.
