2. Phase 2 field activities will be carried out from September 26 2024 to September 30 2024.

The results of Phase 1 field activities are as follows:

Conduct socialization and discuss the problem of providing clean water facilities in Oni Village with Oni Village officials and the community at the Oni Village Office, including the condition of existing clean water distribution facilities, service areas that are not/are not available and obstacles that have arisen so far.

2. Carrying out a comprehensive technical evaluation to solve the problem of providing clean water facilities including water sources, distribution networks and mapping of service areas, especially those where clean water needs have not been met.

3. To meet the need for clean water in the RT 01 RW 01 Dusun 1 area, a 1.4 km long pipeline has been built by tapping from the main pipe network of Oni Village and connecting it to the existing pipe network. This step aims to reactivate clean water facilities which have been neglected for approximately 2 years. Apart from that, the team also added water reservoirs in the RT 01 RW 01 area where clean water needs had not been served and repaired and cleaned the main water tank and repaired accessories for several water reservoirs/torns which had been damaged.

4. To meet the need for clean water in the RT 19 RW 09 Dusun 2 area, a 400 m long clean water network has been built, along with public tap facilities. This step makes it easier for local people, especially the elderly, to meet their water needs. So far, people have had to walk to get water from the main tank which is near the Oni Village office.

Other activities apart from the need for clean water in the area, the excess water discharge is quite abundant, which is used by the people in the RT 01 Dusun 1 area for vegetable gardening in their respective yards.

2. Additional construction of MCK facilities in Phase 2 was carried out in 2 locations, namely: at RT 10 RW 5 Dusun 2 and at RT 10 RW 5 Dusun 2. Like the two MCKs built in Phase 1, these two MCKs will also be used jointly by several families who are close to the MCK location.
