The Water Drilling Program in Magey Village, West Misol District, Raja Ampat Regency, West Papua Province is an initiative designed to overcome the clean water crisis faced by the local community. Magey Village experiences difficulty getting clean water due to limited natural water resources and inadequate infrastructure. To overcome this problem, a water drilling program was implemented with the main aim of providing sustainable access to clean water for village residents.
This program involves drilling deep wells to reach underground sources of clean water that are suitable for consumption. Apart from that, supporting facilities such as storage tanks and water distribution systems were also built to ensure clean water can be accessed by all residents. This program also includes training for local residents on how to maintain and maintain these water sources so that they continue to function well in the long term.
With the implementation of this program, it is hoped that the problem of the clean water crisis in Magey Village can be resolved, improving the quality of life of the community, and provides significant health benefits.
