Underwater acoustics can be defined as the theory of sound waves and propagation in a medium, where the medium used is a medium of water. Underwater acoustic technology has a large role in determining and getting profiles and subtle characteristics. When propagation, underwater acoustic waves can be trapped in sound canals, where this sound canal can be used as a remote communication tool. Underwater acoustic propagation can be modeled using several methods. This book is a collection of research on underwater acoustic propagation in various waters in Indonesia using several methods. In this book discussed in modeling underwater acoustic propagation for Indonesian waters with several methods of completion such as the Ray Tracing method, or the normal-mode method. Modeling the pattern of violence or the propagation of underwater acoustic waves in several Indonesian waters in this book will be very helpful in designing underwater defense patterns in archipelag-based countries such as the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia in this modern defense era. Modeling this underwater acoustic wave propagation is only applied to several Indonesian waters, especially the waters included in the Alki which is the entrance to foreign vessels both ships on water and underwater vessels. Modeling the propagation of underwater acoustic waves is a quick tool in determining shadow zones in a waters which are hiding places of underwater vessels.
