Industrial liquid waste pollution in agricultural areas in Rancaekek sub-district causes damage to the fields of rice fields and losses. The form of the losses includes a decrease in the amount of rice production every year and deteriorating water quality and land in agricultural areas. One effort that can be done to improve the environment is to remediate the river water, the remediation method used is phytoremediation. This phytoremedation development was built in the area of ​​agricultural land consolidation plan. The principle of soil consolidation in this service is the provision of agricultural land / land contribution to the construction (STUP) which will then be built a phytoremediation protopite, and then an arrangement will be arranged against the agricultural area. This service is highly rested on the participation and awareness of the public in the importance of maintaining the environment, especially the agricultural area which is one of the sources of community livelihood in Rancekek District. The target in this service is a community of people, especially the people of Linggar Village, Rancaekek Subdistrict, with this service, the environmental problems due to liquid waste can begin to be improved and overcome gradually. The scope of implementation includes the manufacture of sedehana phytoremediation prototypes using plants as a water purifier media contaminated with heavy metals. The total area to be committed by 2.5 ha by paying attention to hydrological conditions, topographic conditions, and types of plants.
Application of appropriate technology
The community is not yet aware of the importance of processing waste, especially liquid waste. The local government has also not to seek the existence of simple technology to process liquid waste.
