To introduce optical science and technology to school students most of the time is hampered by the lack of simple demonstration and experimental apparatus. In this community service project, we designed and produced a set of apparatus for demonstrating optical phenomena, such as polarization of light, polarization by Brewster angle reflection, diffraction and the Babinet�s principle, total internal reflection, red sunset phenomena and much more. Aside from demonstration of optical phenomena, we also produced apparatus to demonstrate optics-based technologies, such as Spectrometer, Polarimeter, Wavelength Division Multiplexing and much more. All these demonstrations are explained in the accompanying booklet of the optics kit package.
