Illustration visualization can be used in associating objects and actions with the words in the reading, without the help of parents or Teacher. In previous studies collected in 2022, books children in Indonesia have experienced rapid development after independence until now which culminates in the golden age of children's books on 1976-1985. In that decade there has been a significant appearance especially in the use of illustrations in children's books. Use approach Qualitative research, this research explores knowledge and insights about Illustration journey in children's stories in Indonesia in 1975 to 1985. The Content Analysis method will be used to identify the structure visual content in the illustration and examine the cultural context that occurs in In the illustration with the reading limit is a successful book Researchers were collected in March to November 2023. Based on this study, it was found that there is a tendency for use (1) Visual Simplification Style, (2) Visual Outline and Shading Techniques, (3) Representation Visual through the object of human character with the background of daily life with colors that tend to be black and white. (4) Visual structure with format Illustration of Portrait and Symmetrical Composition.
