Clean water decent is one of the points & targets in sustainable development & nbsp; sustainable development goals - SDG’s), but in & nbsp; in fact clean water access is still difficult to reach & nbsp; by some residents, especially access to drinking water. The problem of access to drinking water is caused by the quality & nbsp; water sources that do not meet the criteria for & nbsp; used as a source of drinking water. From the problem & nbsp; this is an idea to do the service & the community in an effort to improve water access & nbsp; drinking feasible by providing technology & clean water under the Citarum & Nbsp; fragrance of the Research and Community (LPPM) Research Institute (LPPM) of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). The village which is the destination in & nbsp; the development of this water treatment technology is & nbsp; Ciroyom Village, Cipeundeuy District, Regency & Nbsp; West Bandung. The total population of the sub -district
cipendeuy is 11,003 inhabitants in 2022. & nbsp; the source of clean water comes from springs and & nbsp; well. For access to drinking water, most of them & rely on bottled drinking water (AMDK) & nbsp; and some of them come from wells that are also the source of clean water. Ciroyom Village & Nbsp; This shows that & nbsp; most of the population in the village of Ciroyom
face financial limitations. In the context & nbsp; this, basic needs such as drinking water becomes & nbsp; serious attention. Unfortunately, in the village of Ciroyom, & nbsp; the majority of drinking water sources are only available in the form of packaged water, which tends to be more & expensive than drinking water from natural resources such as & nbsp; springs or wells. Thus, expenditure & nbsp; for packaged drinking water can be burdensome & nbsp; villagers, especially for those who & nbsp; with minimum income. The issue & nbsp; emphasized the need for greater efforts to & nbsp; improve access to drinking water with & nbsp; consider a more economical solution for the Ciroyom Village community FTSL) namely Rofiq Iqbal & Nbsp; and 2 Infrastructure Engineering Students
ITB Environment namely Pratiwi Puji Lestari and Sekar & Nbsp; Saffanah Naíma Triani provides water treatment & nbsp; drinking communal with ultra filtration. Activities & Nbsp; Devotion Started from August with & nbsp; conduct surveys and observations related to the conditions & nbsp; existing location, planning of providing tools & drinking water, to design & nbsp; construction and installation of tools in Ciroyom Village & Nbsp; in September 2023.
Socialization and official handover to the village community; Publicity in the media; Design of construction and installation of ultra filtration -based water purifier in Ciroyom Village
This activity provides benefits to help the supply of drinking water to the community, reduce the economic burden on the supply of drinking water and increase the empowerment of community community community -based entrepreneurship.
