"Fine Art Exhibition - Water Poetry The exhibition of ""Water Poetry"" is an idea of expression of art that discusses socio-cultural issues related to changes caused by the development and progress of science and technology. The progress of life is now influenced by various possibilities that have been created the advancement of science and technology through industrial growth and various advances in material culture. Nature and the environment underwent changes in line with the formation of an urban environment supported by industry progress. The Cigondewah area in Bandung is an area that is the boundary between the industrial progress environment and the village environment on the edge of the city. The Cigondewah environment is now increasingly dense into a waste collection area (plastic and factory) from the industrial area around the city of Bandung. The Citarum River flow that has been in a room, which crosses the environment is a symbol of changes in our urban environment now. The theme of environmental changes in the problem of water conditions is the inspiration for the creation of art works. Title 'Water Poetry' is the theme of the inspiration of the creation of the artists involved in this exhibition. This theme explores various problems that are felt and contemplated by artists in relation to the safety of life in the future. Water is a starting point life. All forms of life originate and grow from water problems. Water poetry becomes a poetic way of artists to recall and show the importance of the power of life created by water. The progress of science and technology, of course, is also related to how to utilize water potential for continuity and ease of life; but all changes in the way of life that are increasingly moving away from the cycle of natural balance will ultimately damage and eliminate the potential of the SEVERS that are owned by the power of water. Expression of water poetry, symbolic, is about to return to the potential for the living power of water that is not only physical but also mental and emotional. The expression of water poetry is a manifestation of the strength of the imagination of artists to restore the daily life experience on the values of appreciation that is poetic and self-awareness."
