Activity Summary

The garbage pile will have an environmental impact, especially water pollution due to leachate water infiltration, air pollution because of the smell and gas of the evaporated Methan gas, flood due to blockage of drainage channels, health problems and damaging the spatial and beauty of the city. The Open Damping System in the TPA used so far in the management of urban waste during urban waste is no longer relevant in the limitations of the region and the number of urban residents. On the other hand, garbage is a material that has energy stored in the form of chemical bonds between carbon, hydrogen and oxygen molecules. Therefore, seeing great potential and masalh caused, the benefits and converting waste into useful energy is the best solution to eliminate a pile of garbage in TPA. One method that can be used to clean up waste into useful energy is methoe torive, namely a method for converting waste into solid fuel equivalent to sub-bituminous coal (9,10).
