Coffee is one of Indonesia's superior export commodity items. Based on reports released by the International Coffee Organization (ICO), Indonesia has always been ranked four of the world as a coffee manufacturer under Brazil, Vietnam, and Columbia. The total amount of production, domestic consumption, and coffee exports in Indonesia in the past eight years tends to increase, it appears that most of the coffee production in Indonesia is exported abroad than domestic consumption. Guranteng Village is an area upstream of the Citanduy River which is the heart of agriculture and plantations for people who live there because of their livelihoods. Coffee is one of the commodities that began to be developed in the village. Coffee consumption fever that spread among the people of Indonesia began to be contagious to coffee farmers, thereby increasing the passion to grow more coffee, compared to vegetable agriculture that promised profit faster, coffee plants for some coffee farmers were considered as side jobs. The purpose of this community service is to transfer technology for the development of specialized coffee originating from the Citanduy 0 KM area, namely from the District of Pagerageung, Tasikmalaya Regency using a controlled microbial engineering approach. The focus of activities on post -harvest management of coffee. Around 30 coffee farmers involved in Guranteng Village will be included in community service activities. This development is expected to improve the standard of living of the people of Guranteng Village who use coffee as one of the commodities of life.
