The Ganesha ITB campus area has a dense population because it consists of 12 faculties and schools, especially among students, lecturers, and employees. The need for clean and safe drinking water for consumption is very important in the campus area, especially because the residents need enough drinking water during their activities on campus. In addition, the pattern of drinking water consumption among Indonesian people tends to increase along with the awareness of the importance of body hydration. The strategic point in the Ganesha campus area of the Bandung Institute of Technology as an alternative to provide access to clean and safe drinking water, and reduce the use of disposable drinking water bottles. Refill Station is expected to reduce the negative impact on the environment, improve the health of the occupants of the campus area, and facilitate access to clean and safe drinking water. In addition, Refill Station can also be a means of education for the campus community about the importance of body hydration and environmental care.
In this study, the importance placed and implemented in the Ganesha campus area of the Bandung Institute of Technology cannot be ignored. This trial is a critical step in ensuring the effectiveness and sustainability of the system. In addition to the trial function, which is no less important, the trial of the water sample is worth drinking from refill stataion.
First of all, by conducting trials, identifying potential problems and deficiencies in the design of the drinking water filling station before it is fully applied will be obtained. This allows the development team to make the necessary improvements and improvements before the station is operated.
In addition, the trial also provides an opportunity to measure the performance of the drinking water charging station in real conditions in the Ganesha campus area. This allows us to study the use and response of the community to the system. In this process, data and feedback collected from users can help in the development and adjustment so that the drinking water filling station can be more in accordance with the needs and preferences of users.
In addition to technical aspects, trials can also provide social and environmental benefits. By installing a drinking water charging station in the campus area, we can promote a sustainable and environmentally friendly lifestyle among campus communities. The trial also provides an opportunity to increase awareness and understanding of the importance of safe drinking water and easy access to it. This can affect the habits and mindset of users, as well as having a long -term positive impact on health and the environment.
Bandung is an important step. This trial ensures that the system can function properly, meet user needs, and provide significant social and environmental benefits.
