Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a significant role in achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development by fostering inclusive economic growth, creating jobs, and addressing inequality. In Indonesia, MSMEs contribute 60.5% to the national GDP and 99.9% of employment opportunities. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has amplified the challenges MSMEs face, particularly in adopting digital marketing to remain competitive in an increasingly digital marketplace. Despite government initiatives to digitalize 20 million MSMEs, significant gaps in digital skills and strategies hinder their potential for growth and sustainability.
This capacity-building training program aims to enhance the digital marketing competencies of MSMEs, particularly those in the informal sector, enabling them to effectively utilize e-commerce platforms and digital tools for promotion and sales. Partnering with the Regional National Crafts Council of West Java Province, the training targets MSME entrepreneurs who face limited access to high-value markets but significantly contribute to poverty alleviation and job creation. The program focuses on equipping participants with business digitalization skills, fostering entrepreneurial culture, and promoting sustainable business models.
Key outputs include increased digital marketing capabilities among MSME entrepreneurs, widespread adoption of e-commerce strategies, and strengthened resilience against market uncertainties. By empowering MSMEs, this initiative seeks to accelerate progress toward sustainable development goals, particularly decent work and economic growth in Indonesia.

Meningkatkan kapasitas pengusaha UMKM dan memperluas akses mereka ke peluang pasar bernilai tinggi. Membangun kapasitas para pelaku pengusaha UMKM untuk mengembangkan usahanya dalam konteks digital marketing. Menumbuhkan budaya kewirausahaan yang akan memfasilitasi pengembangan model bisnis yang berkelanjutan, wirausaha dan pengentasan Memberikan pengetahuan tentang memanfaatkan model e-commerce dan digital marketing yang meningkatkan ketahanan UMKM dan transformasi digital. Setidaknya 70 persen pengusaha terlatih menunjukkan bahwa mereka akan mengadopsi dan menerapkan keterampilan digital marketing dalam operasi bisnis mereka untuk meningkatkan ketahanan terhadap ketidakpastian pasar.
